Thomas Lister Bramwell was born 19th April 1889, at 20 Bolivar Place in Gateshead England, the ninth of 14 children
born to William Lister Bramwell and Ann Brown between 1874 and 1901.

Ethel Rose Ewart (no photo) was born two years after Thomas on 5th December 1891 in Gateshead England.

Thomas and Ethel married 19th March 1911 at St Aidans Parish Church in Gateshead, County Durham, England.


Thomas & Ethel had three children, the first child Floriss, was born in 1912, Rueben was born in 1913 and Thomas in 1915


Thomas was serving as a Leading Seaman with the Royal Naval Division when Ethel passed away at the very young age of 24 on 10th Dec 1915 from Pulmonary Tuberculosis, a few months after giving birth to Thomas.

WORLD WAR ONE

Thomas served with the Royal Naval Division during World War 1.

2 years after Ethel passed away, Thomas went on to remarry.

On the 28 September 1917, he married a lady by the name of May Gwendoline Annie Scott and they went on to have eleven children.





Thomas Lister Bramwell passed away on 21st November 1961 at The Cottage Buryas Bridge in Penzance Cornwall at the age of 72.
