THE BRAMWELL COAT OF ARMS

The Bramwell Coat of Arms Hereby illustrated is officially documented in Burkes General Armoury. The original description of the arms (shield) is as follows:

"AR. Three Pelicans' Heads Erased AZ.Vulning Themselves Gu"

When translated the Blazon also describes the original colours of the Bramwell Arms as:

"Silver; Three Blue Pelicans' Heads, Jagged, Wounding Themselves Red"

Above the shield and helmet is the crest which is described as:

"Out of a Ducal Crown, Two Lions' Legs, Crossing Diagonally; All Naturally Coloured"
