After the death of his first wife Ann, Joshua married Isabella on 6th Oct 1890 at The Parish Church of St Pauls Low Team, Gateshead England.

According to the 1939 Register, Isabella Richardson was born 17 April 1868 in South Shields, County Durham, the daughter of Richard Richardson and Ellen Anderson.

During their time together, Joshua and Isabella had seven children.

In the census returns of 1891, 1901 and 1911, Joseph and Thomas, two children from Joshua's previous marriage, are living with Joshua and Isabella throughout these years.

Unfortunately, Joshua passed away before the 1921 census was taken, which shows Isabella living with some of her own children but also Joseph, her stepson, is still there at the age of 39.

The photograph below shows Isabella with two of her daughters, Mary and Eleanor, who is seated, along with Mary's husband Jim, taken on a family holiday in 1933.

Joshua passed away on the 27 April 1916 at the age of 59, sixteen years before the above photo was taken, while Isabella lived until the age of 79, passing on the 3 July 1947.
