John Lister Bramwell was born 8th July 1886, at 20 Bolivar Place in Gateshead England, the eighth of 14 children
born to William Lister Bramwell and Ann Brown between 1874 and 1901.

Margaret Ann Onions (no photo) was born the same year as John on 11 February 1886 in Gateshead England.

John and Margaret married 4th August 1912 at St Columbas Church in the parish of St Mary Gateshead, England.


John and Margaret's first child Violet, was born in 1912, but it was not until after the 1st World War had ended that they had another child. John was born in 1920 and 7 years later came Norman in 1927.

WORLD WAR ONE

John served with the Royal Navy during World War 1, where the first ship he served on was Victory II. He also served on The Canada and also the Emperor of India as a Stoker.

John Lister Bramwell passed away on the 13th April 1960 at 14 Birchfield Gardens Gateshead UK at the age of 73.

Margaret passed away on the 3 March 1965 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead at the age of 79.
