Stanley and Eliza were married 12 April 1914 at St Colombas Church in Gateshead.

The sister-in-law of Stanley's older brother John, Annie Onions, was a witness to the marriage along with Eliza's Dad, Clement Burdis.

Stanley and Eliza only had two children, Ellen and Isabella, born in 1914 and 1916 respectively.

Eliza Annie Bramwell sadly passed away at the age of 32 on 24th August 1927

4 years after Eliza died, Stanley married Mary Hodgson in December of 1931 at St Marys Church Gateshead
