William Bramwell was born about 1830 in Gateshead England. Isabella Lister was born on the 20th June 1827 and christened on the 8th July 1827 also in Gateshead.
William's trade was a chainmaker as was his father.

After the death of his first wife, Margaret Fairs, in 1853, William married Isabella Lister on April 2nd 1854 at The Parish Church of Heworth Co Durham.

During their time together they had four children, including my Great Grandfather William Lister Bramwell

William and Isabella's third child, Isabella Ann, only lived for one and half years before dying from Croup in September of 1859.

Isabella died from pneumonia on Sunday 1st June 1884 at the relatively young age of 56.

Isabella was buried in East Cemetery Gateshead on the 4 June 1884.
